Kirsty Chaplin performs ‘Meditazione’ and ‘Romanza’ from Medtner’s Forgotten Melodies II, Op. 39; Granados’s Valses Poéticos; and Schumann’s Fantasiestücke, Op. 12: Nos. 1, 5 & 7 as part of the state51 Conservatoire series.



Kirsty creates unique performance experiences, collaborating with fellow musicians, artists, composers and creatives to make classical music relevant and accessible in the modern day.

Currently completing a Masters of Music at the Royal Academy of Music, under the mentorship of Professor Ian Fountain and Professor Emeritus Christopher Elton, Kirsty takes a rounded approach to music making, with her interests ranging from Russian literature, philosophy and art helping shape her choice of repertoire and her interpretations.
